Teacher control
Changes arrive as suggestions. You review, accept, or dismiss them. Cotie respects workspace roles and leaves taught lessons alone. AI can still be wrong; review dates, names, claims, and educational content before relying on it.
Training and retention
We don't train any model on your family's content, and OpenAI says API inputs and outputs aren't used to train its models by default. OpenAI does retain some data for abuse monitoring, and the windows vary by endpoint — their terms can change, so the links below are the source of record.
