COTIE
Cotie plans weeks, writes lessons, and works right on your board — visibly, honestly, and never without your say-so.
PROPOSAL
Take Nov 24–28 off for Thanksgiving
Three lessons would move to the week after. Nothing gets dropped.
SCOPE-AWARE
Open Cotie on the year and "this week" means the week you're looking at. Open it on a lesson and "make this simpler" means that section. Select three cards on a board and ask "connect these" — your selection is the context, described in your own words.
The conversation follows you across pages, and threads are saved per plan — pick up Sunday night where Tuesday left off.
“Where are the holes in my year?” — Cotie reads the whole grid and answers about gaps, repeats, and thin weeks.
“Is this week too heavy?” — it sees every session, every subject, and what's already taught.
“Make the activity more hands-on” — it revises one section and shows you the diff.
“Make a worksheet from this” — whatever you've selected is the context, in your own words.
25 TOOLS, ONE RULE
Cotie can plan a whole week, draft topics, write and revise lessons, set materials, take a week off, declare a unit study, drop stickies and research onto your board, generate worksheets and images, and search the web. What it can't do: overwrite your words, touch a taught lesson, or edit a subject that belongs to another teacher. The distinction is the product.
