ABOUT THE PROJECT

Built at the kitchen table,
for the kitchen table.

Cotable exists because co-op planning deserves better than fourteen spreadsheet tabs, a group text, and a shoebox of index cards.

Homeschool co-ops run on heroic amounts of invisible work. A director keeps the semester aligned. Teacher-parents adapt curriculum for a class with three grade levels in it. Families juggle what happens at co-op with what happens at home. The planning tools on offer were built for none of them — they assume a school with an IT department, or a lone parent with one child and endless patience for setup.

Cotable is our answer: one shared, endlessly expandable table where the whole co-op plans together. Paste the curriculum you already wrote and it becomes structured, dated lessons — your words kept exactly as you wrote them. Drop in the co-op's weekly topic schedule and draft a year of grade-calibrated lessons to shape. Then run the semester from a view a tired parent can actually read.

We're a small team building in the open, in beta, with the families and co-ops using Cotable every week. The product gets better because a director in a co-op somewhere told us exactly what fell apart on a snow day — and we fixed that.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Four rules we don't break

They shape every screen and every AI feature in Cotable.

PRINCIPLE 01

The teacher's words are sacred

Import keeps your curriculum verbatim — never paraphrased, never summarized. AI output is a proposal until you accept it. Nothing overwrites your work without consent.

PRINCIPLE 02

Honest about what's missing

A lesson with no materials list or closure isn't hidden behind a green checkmark. Gaps are flagged plainly, so you fix them before class day — not during it.

PRINCIPLE 03

Legible on a Sunday night

Every screen is designed for a tired parent planning tomorrow at 9pm. Big type, plain words, and the next thing you need right where you'd look for it.

PRINCIPLE 04

Every seat at one table

Directors, teacher-parents, and member families see the same table with the right permissions — and your own family's plans live right alongside the co-op's.

Help us build it.

Cotable is in private beta — free while we build it with the families using it. Your feedback lands on our table, literally.
